Child Protection Policy Statement

St. John Baptist De La Salle Catholic School is firmly committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for every student. Our highest imperative is safeguarding children from harm, violence, or exploitation.

We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy for abuse, bullying, harassment, or misconduct of any kind. This applies without exception to all staff, faculty, volunteers, parents, and students within our campus community.

Examples of Reportable Concerns:

  • Bullying: Physical, verbal, or cyber intimidation.
  • Abuse: Emotional, physical, or sexual abuse.
  • Neglect: Failure to provide basic needs or care.
  • Misconduct: Inappropriate behavior by staff or students.
  • Safety Hazards: Unsafe facility conditions or security risks on campus.

Privacy & Confidentiality

All reports submitted through this portal are handled with the highest degree of confidentiality and sensitivity. Access to report details is restricted exclusively to authorized safeguarding officers.

We respect your right to privacy. If you choose to submit an anonymous report, your anonymity will be fully preserved and protected.

Important Legal Note: While confidentiality is prioritized, the school is legally obligated to report severe cases involving imminent danger or child abuse to designated child protection authorities to ensure student safety.

Reports can be made by: Students, Teachers, Staff, Parents, or Community members.
