Lasallian Service Requirement
Community service is an integral component of the educational experience at St. John Baptist De La Salle Catholic School. All high school students (Grades 9–12) complete mandatory service hours annually, putting faith into practice by supporting vulnerable communities in Addis Ababa.
Mother Teresa Orphanage Outreach
Students volunteer weekly at the neighboring St. Mother Teresa Community of Charity, assisting with meal distribution, peer tutoring, and child recreational care.
Peer Tutoring Program
Upperclassmen provide academic tutoring in mathematics, science, and English for younger elementary students from underprivileged backgrounds.
Environmental Stewardship
Participating in Green Legacy tree planting campaigns across Asco and Oromia border zones to combat urban deforestation.
